When we think of a steady horse in the herd, Rocky immediately comes to mind. He is a retired L.A. County fire horse who used to traverse the hills of Los Angeles looking for spot fires. His patient and nurturing personality places him as the “old man” of the herd. Rocky loves to take a walk on the trail and explore, because it reminds him of the vitally important job he performed with the fire department.  He loves his quiet time and to be groomed, which is often the perfect combination to lull him to sleep. Rocky is a quarter horse gelding that was foaled in 2001.
